This is the first wedding dress I created. The fabric is 100% tussah silk satin with contrasting silk woven in a box pattern. It is a sheath dress with attached flared train. The back (see detail) is woven strips of fabric to create the lattice effect. The contrasting fabric is found on the shoulders, the front neckline, down the front of the dress, and at either side of the lattice on the back. The design came from a drawing the bride made.
