This is a Victorian-inspired two-piece wedding dress. There is a matching skirt (not shown) which is gathered at the waist, moderately full, and is almost floor-length. The jacket is embellished with many yards of lace, which was hand-sewn on. There are frog closures down the front, which were dyed to match. The fabric is 100% silk shangtung, which was tea-dyed to obtain the antique coloring. The frogs were also dyed to match
